The sculptural figure of the attendant of Lord Shiva, Nandi or the bull has been beautifully carved out by the sculptor. The standing figure reveals some nice carvings on it and his belly and face are more prominent. Nandi is the vehicle of Lord Shiva and represents satsang (good company). There is a famous saying, “If you have association with sages you are sure to attain realization of God. Sages will guide you.” Thus it shows good company will remove the snares that lie on our path. There is no other safe boat than satsang to take one to the other shore, of fearlessness and immortality.
