The
Lord Buddha

bhumisparsa mudra
(Touching the earth). This hand gesture symbolizes his overcoming the last obstacle to enlightenment i.e., self-doubt. Once he overcomes this last obstacle, Lord Buddha attained
Nirvana
(total salvation). The brass work of Lord Buddha is unique in its treatment. Smoothness and half closed eyes have given the statue a remarkable appearance.
