The artist has scripted a refine story of the meditating Buddha on pink. Made of Pink soft  Sandstone from Orissa, the statue shows Lord Buddha, the paradigm of non-violence in a sitting posture. He is meditating to realize the Ultimate truth. His half closed eyes, drapery, curly hair, elongated ears; all have been crafted in a refine manner. The serenity of the figure is evident in its treatment of colour and different parts of the body.
