The beautiful Madhubani painting depicts Lord Ramchandra chasing the golden deer who was in reality Maris, cousin of Ravan. Maris was in guise of a deer and went to the hermit of Lord Ramchandra. The beautiful painting depicts two deer and Lord Ram chasing after them. Centred around Mithila, Madhubani style of painting depicts nature’s richness with vibrant colours. The sense of colour is very sharp in case of Mithila paintings.

On a request made by Beloved wife Sita,Lord Rama ran after to catch the golden deers, who were basically demons in the form of golden deers.
