The beautiful brass figure of Parvati, the wife of Lord Shiva is given a resplendent treatment. She is standing tall wearing a decorated headgear. The lower part of the figure is adorned with jewelries whereas the upper part is left naked. Her prominent breasts also reveal sensuality and feminine beauty.

Parvati is known as the daughter of Himavan, Lord of the mountains and the personification of the Himalayas. Lord Shiva and Parvati are considered the most ideal couple in Hinduism. She is often worshipped along with Lord Shiva.
