The gracious figure of Lord Ganesha is given a spectacular treatment with some nice carvings and designs. Lord Ganesha is a son of Lord Shiva, one of the Trinity Gods in Hinduism, the other two being Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu. He is also known as the Lord of Wisdom and the Remover of Obstacles. The figure is minutely carved out of wood with some fine designs on it. A sense of gracefulness and accomplishment is manifest. One of the most-revered gods in Hinduism, Lord Ganesha is worshipped first among the all gods and that is why he is also called Agra Ganya and he is also one of the most benevolent gods and could be easily propitiated.
