The beautiful brass arti lamp has been exquisitely carved out by the sculptor with a greater sense of utilitarianism though the artistic side has also been well taken care of. Garuda, the half man-half eagle king of birds has been nicely carved out in the lamp. This carrier of Vishnu is holding the three lamps with his hands. The bird God is thought to be the remover of all obstacles. Such lamps have significant place in Hindu rituals and lighting of lamps removes all our darkness in our minds.
