The spectacular wooden figure of Lord Shiva, one of the Trinity Gods in Hinduism, the other two being Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma, and His wife Parvati (also known as Gauri) is given a refine and minute treatment with some exquisite carvings on it. The divine couple, considered in Hinduism, as the most-ideal couple, are shown seated on the vehicle of Lord Shiva, that is the Nandi Bull.
