The beautiful brass figure of the Lord Shiva is given a splendid treatment with some spectacular designs on it. As Nataraj, Lord Shiva is known to be the master of dance and his Nataraj form represents the rhythmic motion of life, its continuity. He is shown in a special dancing posture. Lord Shiva represents light and knowledge. He is also one of the Trinity Gods, the other two being Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu. Though Lord Shiva is responsible for destruction, destruction is also prelude to regeneration.
