The beautiful Madhubani painting depicts the Lord Krishna and His consort Radha along with the Sun, the source of our energy. Sun is painted at the center whereas the Lord Krishna and His consort Radha are painted on the right and left side of the Sun. The beautiful painting reflects the simple philosophy of life of the people of Mithila that the Sun and the Lord are equivalent, the omnipotence of the Lord: His male and female manifestation. Red, blue, green and mustard colours have been nicely combined together to yield a nice blending of colours.
