The spectacular stone figure of Lord Shiva is given a minute and refine treatment. Lord Shiva is one of the Trinity Hindu Gods. The other two are Lord Brahma, who is responsible for the creation of the Universe and Lord Vishnu, who takes care of the preservation of the universe. The duty of the Lord Shankara or Shiva is to destroy the evil forces. This destruction leads to the creation of a new order. Lord Shiva represents the regenerative forces.
