The gracious Goddess Durga is beautifully carved out of stone with a greater degree of refinement and perfection. The Goddess was born out of the combined forces of all Gods and Goddesses in order to eliminate Mahishasur, the demon who wrought havoc on Earth and Heaven. On her six hands, she is holding weapons and with one hand blessing. The Goddess Durga is seated on a tiger, wearing some spectacular drapery and jewelries.
