The Apostle of Non-Violence and Truth is presented here in a meditative posture. The Lord Buddha gave up the pap of luxury in search of the Truth and after a severe penance he came out with the absolute truth.

The ushnisha or knot of hair on top of Buddha’s head is considered a sign of his spiritual wisdom. Lord Buddha is also considered an incarnation of the Hindu God Vishnu.
