Here the Lord is seated expressing a deep sense of gravity and accomplishment. Lord Ganesha is also known as the Remover of Obstacles as he creates obstacles on our path and removes the same following proper invocation. Thus, he is called as Vighneshvara, (Lord of Obstacles). He creates difficulties and obstructions if the time is wrong for us to proceed and removes those obstacles when our success is assured.
