The beautiful Kalamkari painting depicts the ferocious Goddess Mahakali with some brilliant strokes. 

The Goddess Kali is shown holding a beheaded figure of a human being. Her five heads are nicely painted black. Her ferocious element is manifest here as she is wearing garlands of human skulls and is painted trampling over the sleeping figure of Lord Shiva. A number of floral designs make the painting even more attractive. It is believed that worshipping the Goddess helps us get rid of the evil effects. The flame on the background is also nicely apinted.
