The beautiful figure of Lord Buddha, the Apostle of Truth and Non-violence, is given a royal and detail treatment by the sculptor. Carved out of oxidized copper, the figure has some sparkling gold paints and they reflect the beauty and gracefulness of the image. Also considered an incarnation of Vishnu by the Hindus, Gautam Buddha left the luxury of royal life and became a mendicant in search of Truth.
