The beautiful image of the Lord Ramchandra is nicely carved out of brass metal. Lord Ram, the son of Dasarath, the King of Ayodha, is one of the most popular deities in Hinduism and is considered an incarnation of Vishnu. His wife Sita was abducted by the demon king Ravana, and to rescue her, Ram had to launch a massive operations against the king of Lanka with the help of Hanuman, his devotee and monkey king Sugreeb. Ultimately Rama killed Ravana and rescued her. The figure contains some of the exquisite carvings on it.
