The brass figure of the
Goddess Meenaksi
has been nicely carved out with some parkling decoratins on the figure. Not only the figure the podiumon, which she is standing, is also being nice carved out with some beautiful carvings on it. It is believed that the goddess is the messenger of the light and she is shown carrying two vessels on which she is carrying the liht of the god sun. It is believed that light gets dimmer as she moves in as she is the messenger of light.
