Warli is the name of the largest tribe to be found on the northern outskirts of Bombay, in Western India.Warli art was first discovered in the early seventies. The roots of Warli art can be traced to as early as the 10th century. Warli is the vivid expression of daily and social events of the Warli tribe of Maharashtra, used by them to adorn the walls of their huts.
