Lord Shiva is one of the God in Hindu Trinity Gods. Lord Shiva represents the aspect of the Supreme Being that continuously dissolves to recreate in the cyclic process of creation, preservation, dissolution and recreation of the universe.In this brass figure He is holding a trident in his upper right hand,the three points of the trident represents physical,mental and spiritual aspects of humam life means all aspects are in his control,He cuts the boundary of all impurities, physical and mental wrong doings,He destroys the effects of bad karma, our illusions, desires and ignorance.On His upper left hand Shiva is holding a rosary and in His lower left hand holding a kamandul (a typical container made of bitter fruit called toomba for water used by ascetics) symbolising migration from the worldly attachments.Standing here gracefully to bless His Bhaktas (devotees).
