Goddess Saraswati  is the wife of Lord Brahma and represents the power of speech (Vaka Shakti) wisdom and arts. Her four hands represents four aspects of human personality in learning; intellect,mind, ego and alertness .She has sacred scripture in one hand and a rosary in the second,with her other two hands she plays the Veena (stringed instrument).She is dressed in white and rides on her vehicle swan.
