Description
Unhurried Tales: My Favourite Novellas brings together, for the very first time, Ruskin Bonds favourite (and finest) novellas. The stories in this book include Time Stops at Shamli (written in 1956 and published for the first time in 1987); The Blue Umbrella, which has been a bestseller for the last forty years; Angry River, which was a longer work when it was first written; Bus Stop, Pipalnagar; Night of the Leopard; The Last Tiger and Tales of Fosterganj, his latest novella, which was published in 2013.
These stories speak of a world that has long vanished, but it is a world that has lost none of its power to enchant. Whether we are accompanying Sita on her perilous journey down the angry river or Bisnu as he gets the better of a dangerous leopard, whether we delight in Binyas joy at owning her blue umbrella or are saddened by the fate of the last tiger, whether we laugh uproariously at the antics of the eccentric guests at the 'hotel in Shamli, get involved in the adventures of the boys in Pipalnagar or plunge into the various goings-on in the 'backwater of Fosterganj, we are always entertained, always charmed. All the stories unwind in an unhurried way, even those that are filled with death-defying thrills and spills, and it is this quality that enables us to sink into them and experience to its fullest the magic of the fiction that Ruskin Bond has spun out of the hills and small towns of India for over sixty years.

Description
The serene beauty of the Madhubani painting is manifest in the way the painting is being executed. The painting depicts the Lord as Ardhnariswar, half Male and Half Female. The left side is painted as Lord Shiva and the right side Parvati. It shows the duality in every human being. Simple but straight lines are used by the women painters. Madhubani painting is centred around Mithila region of Bihar, where women painters depict mythological and natural figures on cloth, hand-made paper and canvas. This is an age-old tradition and has been handing down from generations to generations.

Description
The brass figurine unique Buddha head antique look is nicely carved. Sharp eyes, nice carvings, and fine treatment of the bust of Buddha make the figure a masterpiece. There is delicate design reflected on the bust. Lord Gautam Buddha gave up the lap of luxury in search of the Ultimate Truth in life. His quest was to find out a universal panacea for all ills plaguing mankind. The path shown by Lord Buddha is still being followed by millions across the world. His gospel of non-violence and truth has wider implications in today’s world.
The beautiful brass figure of Lord Buddha is cast in the traditional dhokra technique. A prominent deity in Hinduism, Buddha is also considered an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Dhokra is an ancient technique of crafting brass figures using the lost wax method. In this method, the figure is created through a laborious lost wax method practised by the tribal groups of north India. A model is sculpted out of clay and dried in the sun. It is then covered with beeswax and more clay, forming a mold. The piece is cast, cleaned and again dried in the sun. Finally, it is heated in the ground for five days and polished.

Description
The brass figure of Garuda statue is nicely designed. Garuda is a Hindu divinity and is the mount (vahana) of the Lord Vishnu. Normally, Garuda is depicted as having the golden body of a strong man with a white face, red wings, and an eagle's beak and with a crown on his head. This ancient deity was said to be massive, large enough to block out the sun. Garuda is known as the eternal sworn enemy of the Nāga serpent race and known for feeding exclusively on snakes, such behavior may have referred to the actual Short-toed Eagle of India. The image of Garuda is often used as the charm or amulet to protect the bearer from snake attack and its poison, since the king of birds is an implacable enemy and "devourer of serpent". Garudi Vidya is the mantra against snake poison to remove all kinds of evil.
