DESCRIPTION:
He appears out of nowhere in a sleepy little neighbourhood in suburban Kerala. He calls himself Shunya, the zero. Who is he? A lunatic? A dark magician? A fraud? Or an avadhuta, an enlightened soul?

Saami—as they call him—settles into a small cottage in the backyard of the local toddy shop. Here he spins parables, blesses, curses, drinks endless glasses of black tea and lives in total freedom. On rare occasions, he plays soul-stirring melodies on his old, bamboo-reed flute.

Then, just as mysteriously as he arrived, Shunya vanishes, setting the path for a new avadhuta, a new era.

This first novel by Sri M is a meditation on the void which collapses the wall between reality and make-believe, the limited and the infinite. With its spare storytelling and profound wisdom, it leads us into the realm of ‘shunya’, the nothingness of profound and lasting peace, the beginning and end of all things.

DESCRIPTION:
The author Sri 'M' is an extraordinary individual. His uniqueness lies not only in the fact that at the young age of 19 and a half, he travelled to snow clad Himalayas from Kerala, and there he met and lived for several years with a 'real-time' yogi, Babaji, but also that he should undertake such an unusual and adventurous exploration, given
his non-Hindu birth and antecedents. The metamorphosis of Mumtaz Ali Khan into Sri 'M', a yogi with profound knowledge of the Upanishads and deep personal insights, born of first hand experiences with higher levels of consciousness is indeed a fascinating story.

About the Author

Sri M was born in Tiruvananthapuram, Kerala. At the age of nineteen and a half attracted by a strange and irresistible urge to go to the Himalayas, he left home. At the Vyasa Cave, beyond the Himalayan shrine of Badrinath, he met his Master and lived with him for three and a half year, wandering freely, the length and breadth of the snow clad Himalayan region. Back in the plains, he, as instructed by his Master, lived a normal life, working for a living, fulfilling his social commitments and at the same time preparing himself to teach all that he had learnt and experienced. At a signal from his Master he entered the teaching phase of his life. Today, he travels
all over the world to share his experiences and knowledge.

DESCRIPTION:
Relativity: The Special and General Theory, in Einstein’s own words, is an exact insight into the theory of Relativity to those readers who, from a general scientific and philosophical point of view, are interested in the theory, but who are not conversant with the mathematical apparatus of theoretical physics. Written as a short paper in the beginning, this work was later published as a book which was originally written in German and first published in English in 1920. Einstein in his preface mentions that the main aim of the book was to take the concept of relativity even to people with no strong background in Physics. Combining Newton’s time and space entities of classical physics into one inseparable element of space-time continuum in his general relativity, Einstein gave the ultimate limit to the speed of light and its correlation with the concept of time and space in his special theory of relativity. The book is divided into three parts. In the first part, Einstein exquisitely elaborates on intricate concepts like coordinate systems, length contraction, time dilation, relativistic mass, Minkowski's Four-dimensional Space and most importantly talks about his exceptionally simple equation E=MC2, which completely changed the previously thought notions on mass, energy and their relationship with light. In the second part, revolutionary concept of general relativity is discussed in a way a common man could understand the anatomy of space and time. Explaining through simplified field equations, Einstein puts forth the beautiful idea of four dimensional space-time curvatures that laid the foundations for a century of scientific, specifically, astrophysical discoveries and explanations. In the third part Einstein gives a slight glimpse of his philosophical perspective towards the universe and the way physics defines the working manual of it. Here he considers the universe as a whole, and discusses the implications of relativity concepts in understanding the same. This book, even a century after it was published, is still the holy grail of theoretical physics and astrophysics.

About the Author

Albert Einstein, a gentleman who belongs to the elite league of Newton, Tesla, Maxwell and considered to be the greatest scientist of 20th century. Born in Germany, and worked as a clerk in the patent office before revolutionizing the world of physics, Einstein with his incredible achievements in scientific world has become synonymous to the word genius. He provided the world, two of the most brilliant concepts of physics through his theories of relativity, and won the Noble Prize in Physics for his work on Photoelectric Effect, which eventually become the foundation stone for tremendous developments in electronic technologies and quantum theory. Einstein is not only celebrated as the greatest physicists of all the time but he was also a wonderful human being and philosopher. World War II and presence of Adolf Hitler in Germany forced him to stay in the US during the period, where he consistently tried hard to warn and evade the application of nuclear fission as a weapon of mass destruction. He collaborated and interacted with many extraordinary minds of his time contributing to the world of physics and humanity as a whole. His unmatched intellectual imagination collaged with his immense interest in music, philosophy and humanity makes him the greatest personality that scientific world and mankind have ever seen.

Book 1: Mind is your Business

For most people, the mind seems to be an unruly cacophony, attempting to grasp and shape everything which falls in its purview. In mind is your business, Sadhguru explains that only if we make it "our business" to transform this uncoordinated mess into a well - coordinated symphony, will we able to use the mind, rather than be used by it.

Book 2: Body the Greatest Gadget

Body, The Greatest Gadget, is an introduction to the most sophisticated and incredible device on the planet. In the course of this book, Sadhguru explores the yogic physiology and the many subtle dimensions of the body. It is a first step on an intriguing and exciting journey that culminates in total mastery of the system, allowing us to stay rooted in the physical and yet taste the beyond. Above all, the book is a glimpse of a possibility to live and function in a way that most human beings would consider superhuman.

                      2 Books in 1

Book 1: Emotion: The Juice of Life

“One can make any emotion into a creative force in one’s life.”
                      – Sadhguru

It’s not just poetic license that allows us to refer to emotions as “juicy”. In a literal sense also, emotions are a chemical cocktail that course through our bodies. But while we have no problems with pleasant emotions, unpleasant emotions are the source of much angst in our lives. In Emotion: The Juice of Life, Sadhguru looks at the gamut of human emotions and how to turn them into stepping stones rather than stumbling blocks.

Sadhguru is a yogi and profound mystic of our times. An absolute clarity of perception places him in a unique space in not only matters spiritual but in business, environmental and international affairs and opens a new door on all that he touches.

Book 2: Relationships: Bond or Bondage

“If you enhance yourself into a very beautiful state, everyone will want to hold a relationship with you.”
                      – Sadhguru

Human beings constantly make and break relationships. Unfortunately, relationships can make and break human beings too. Why are relationships such a circus for most of us? What is this primal urge within us that demands a bond – physical, mental, or emotional – with another? And how do we keep this bond from turning into bondage? These are the fundamental questions that Relationships: Bond or Bondage looks at as Sadhguru shares with us the keys to forming lasting and joyful relationships, whether they are with husband or wife, family and friends, at work, or with the very existence itself.

                          Description

                          A journey of self-discovery
You may have conquered the whole world, but if you have not mastered yourself.
Do you know where you are going?
And perhaps the more important question is, where do you wish to go?
‘Tatah kim? Tatah kim?’ asked Adi Shankara, centuries ago. What then? Is making money the be-all and end-all of life?
The answer to that question cannot really be found in our diary entries or our schedule of appointments! Our activities cannot indicate the answer either. It is a question that forces one to reflect on the ultimate goal one has set for oneself.
In What Then, J.P. Vaswani expertly illustrates the importance of taking a step back and evaluating life. Are we living in order to die? Or are we living to exist? Or to eat, drink and be merry for we may die soon? Even in the frenetic pursuit of targets and goals, we need to pause and reflect on where we are headed, where our life is taking us, or, where we are trying to reach with our hectic efforts!
What then? Where does one go from here?
J.P. Vaswani was one of the leading spiritual luminaries of India. A gifted writer and brilliant orator, Dada, as he was lovingly called, addressed distinguished audiences worldwide on love, faith, joy and peace. He was the recipient of several honors, including the prestigious U Thant Peace Award. He penned over 80 books and many of them have been translated into various foreign languages.

                              Description

The essence of powerful mantras such as: Guru Mantra, Gayatri Mantra Ganapati Mantra, Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra Shanti Mantra and many more
Mantras have been close to the heart of Hinduism since time immemorial. For too long, taboos and restrictions have made the lay person, the ordinary individual and the uninitiated seeker slightly wary of this potent talisman that has been left for our benefit by the ancient rishis of India.

In this book, JP Vaswani demystifies mantras of their abstraction and esoteric aspects and brings them closer to us for our use. He has chosen to share some of his own favourite mantras, in his characteristically lucid and eloquent expositions about the significance of each. Also included in the book are answers to questions on the use of mantras and their effects. His wisdom, his insights and his profound scholarship are freely offered to us so that we may move onward, forward, Godward!

This Upanishad consisting of 113 verses in six chapters belongs to the
Shukla Yajur Veda and takes its name from the sage Shvetashvatara. It has for
its ultimate conclusion non-dualism. Still, its devotional tone is too strong to
be ignored. The harmony of knowledge and devotion is quite evident in the
texts. With a faithful and lucid English translation of Shankaracharya's
commentary added by relevant notes, it goes without saying that this work
will be extremely important for all the students of Vedanta.

This edition includes the Devanagari text, English translation and
                                  commentary.

To be able to celebrate life is religion, in that very celebration you come close to God. If one is able to celebrate, God is not far away, if one is not able to celebrate life, then God does not exist for him. God appears only in deep celebration, when you are so full of joy, that all misery has left you. - Osho

—HAROLD H. BLOOMFIELD, MD., psychiatrist and author

“Tao seems to be the only life vision which is total. It does not deny the earth, it does not deny the sky. It accepts both, it accepts the unity of both. It says the man who has come to know spontaneous purity and stillness, who has become relaxed with the whole, with the law of the ultimate – in him heaven and earth are united.

I believe in the whole. To me, to trust the whole is the only way to be holy and to trust the whole is the only way to be whole. And when you are whole, life is bliss, life is benediction, life is celebration.”

                                                  Talks on Zen

AUTHENTIC TRUTH CANNOT BE SAID WITH WORDS, IT CAN ONLY BE LIVED

In The First Principle, Osho captures the unique, colorful, seemingly crazy spirit of Zen through talks on a collection of Zen stories – anecdotes of the often-bizarre interchanges between a master and disciple in the quest for truth. From these anecdotes, Osho distills Zen’s pragmatic essence for the reader and conveys an alive understanding of its message – “the first principle.”

Speaking to the contemporary, modern reader without robbing these old tales of their magic, charm and humor, Osho reminds us: “You are the shrine for the first principle. So the only way is to go within. Turn in. That is what meditation is all about.”

                                                      Description

Discourses on fragmentary notes of Bodhi dharma's four disciples. The White Lotus is a beautiful symbol. White represents multidimensionality, because white contains all the colors of the spectrum. That is the most strange, unbelievable quality about white, it contains all the colors yet it seems to be colorless. But it contains all those colors in such synthesis, in such harmony, that they all disappear. They dissolve into oneness and that oneness is white. White represents the ultimate synthesis and harmony and the lotus also is a great symbol, particularly in the East. The lotus represents the essential meaning of sannyas. The lotus lives in the lake and yet the water cannot touch it. it lives in the water and yet remains untouched by the water. The lotus represents the witnessing quality of your being: you live in the world, but you remain a witness. You remain in the world and yet you are not part of it. You participate and yet you are not part of it. You are in the world, but the world is not in you. When you become a calm and cool observer of life you are going to laugh not ordinarily laughter but a belly laughter like a lion's roar and white lotuses will start showering on you.

                                                          Talks on the Kenopanishad

THE UPANISHADS CAN BE READ TODAY AS CONTEMPORARY SOURCES OF WISDOM

Despite being many thousands of years old. They are direct transmissions of truth – and truth is eternal, above religious dogma and tradition – but because of their antiquity, they can appear cloaked in a mysterious language, which can be hard to understand. Osho, with his fresh and sometimes irreverent approach, brings the Kenopanishad up-to-date.

Because Osho can so easily go beyond the intellect, his presentation of this ancient treatise is unlike anything coming from the academic world. For those familiar with exploring ideas through the intellect, this book could be an ideal way to discover what they have been missing. One can open the book to almost any page and be astonished by the brilliance of the insights.

“When you fall within yourself, sooner or later the form will be lost, the name will be lost, because they exist only on the surface. The deeper you drown the more you come nearer to God – God as existence, not as a person.”

                                                              Talks on the Isha Upanishad

Osho goes into the depths of these eternal questions while speaking on the sutras of the Isha Upanishad – the most ancient words of wisdom available to mankind.
For over 35 years, Osho spoke to international audiences of seekers, addressing their essential questions and concerns. The international press calls him “A 21st Century Prophet” and “an oracle of modern times.” His books and audio lectures are international bestsellers.

Osho himself says that he is neither a prophet nor a philosopher; he is simply sharing his own experience. The Sunday Times of London described him as “one of the 1000 makers of the 20th century” and American author Tom Robbins has called him “the most dangerous man since Jesus Christ” – both comments reflecting the profound influence of his revolutionary approach to the science of inner transformation.
Spoken with authority, clarity, sharpness and humor, his insights address both the timeless and timely concerns that tend to escape our notice in the clamor and overload of daily life.
