About the Author

1 जनवरी 1937 राजनांद गाँव (मध्य प्रदेश) में जन्मे श्री विनोद कुमार शुक्ल का पहला कविता संग्रह ‘लगभग जयहिंद’ पहचान सीरीज़ के अंतर्गत 1971 में प्रकाशित हुआ था। उनका दूसरा कविता संग्रह ‘वह आदमी चला गया नया गरम कोट पहिनकर विचार की तरह’ सम्भावना प्रकाशन ने 1981 में और वहीं से उनका पहला उंप्यास ‘नौकर की कमीज़’ 1979 में छपा। जिसे मध्यप्रदेश साहित्य परिषद का विरसिंघ देव पुरुस्कार सन 1979-80 में,रज़ा पुरुस्कार 1981 में,सृजनभारती सम्मान उड़ीसा की वर्णमाला संस्था द्वारा सन 1992 में, जैसे अनेक सम्मान प्राप्त हो चुके हैं। 1994-95 में मैथिलीशरण गुप्त सम्मान।
