In this mudra, the Lord is holding his right hand upright, and the palm is facing outwards. This is one of the earliest Mudra found depicted on a number of Hindu, Buddhist, and Jaina images. The lord is in a meditative posture and there are furs in the entire body, whereas normally his body is carved out without furs. It seems the Pawanputra is in a deep meditation for quite long time.
