Editorial Reviews

Excellent book. Might be a disturbing read to some, but if you're already aware of Aghori practices this book gives you a great insight on the why & how of this way of life. Despite its lengthy details regarding tantrik practices in relation to spirits, the dead, and even sex, what one will take away the most from this book is the whole idea of how the Universe functions. The Aghori whom this book is about must have been a great soul indeed, and wise enough to have this book published after his death considering the questionable nature of spiritualists in today's society. --By SG on 13 March 2016

I had no idea about Aghora or Aghori, but i have seen some crazy naked sadhu''s in documentary of 'Kumbh Mela' a mass Hindu pilgrimage in which Hindus gather to bathe in a sacred river Ganga. I was wondering why they are naked, what kind of rituals they do and there was no answers even after reading top or best selling spiritual books! But as i completed this book, everything was very clear to me. --By Ganesh on 22 June 2016

This book contains aghora wisdoms and left hand tantra. It's a great read. However it may seem disturbing to some because of uncommon and extreme aghora rituals. But Vimalananda has beautifully explained the relevance of each ritual with red flags of caution for curious aspirants at appropriate places. --By varun on 25 April 2014
