Description
The beautiful brass figure of child Krishna is nicely decorated with a high degree of finesse and refinement. A large number of stories surround the life and some key events of child Krishna when he was in Gokul and his maternal uncle Kanch tried to kill him but without success. Krishna is often described and portrayed as an infant or young boy playing a flute as in the Bhagavata Purana, or as a youthful prince giving direction and guidance as in the Bhagavad Gita. The stories of Krishna appear across a broad spectrum of Hindu philosophical and theological traditions. They portray him in various perspectives: a God-child, a prankster, a model lover, a divine hero and the supreme being. The principal scriptures discussing Krishna's story are the Mahabharata, the Harivamsa, the Bhagavata Purana, and the Vishnu Purana. The stories of Krishna's childhood and youth tell how he became a cow herder, his mischievous pranks as Makhan Chor (butter thief), his foiling of attempts to take his life, and his role as a protector of the people of Vrindavana.
Krishna killed the demoness Putana, disguised as a wet nurse, sent by Kansa for Krishna's life. He tamed the serpent Kāliyā, who previously poisoned the waters of Yamuna river, thus leading to the death of the cowherds. In Hindu art, Krishna is often depicted dancing on the multi-hooded Kāliyā.
Krishna lifted the Govardhana hill and taught Indra, the king of the devas and rain, a lesson to protect native people of Brindavana from persecution by Indra and prevent the devastation of the pasture land of Govardhan. Indra had too much pride and was angry when Krishna advised the people of Brindavana to take care of their animals and their environment that provide them with all their necessities, instead of worshipping Indra annually by spending their resources.

Description
In this beautiful brass figure, Lord Vishnu is depicted taking rest on the serpent Shesha. In Hindu tradition, Shesha also known as Sheshanaga, is the king of all Nagas (serpent deities), one of the primal beings of creation, and according to the Bhagavata Purana, an avatar of the Supreme God known as Narayana. He is sometimes referred to as Ananta Shesha which translates as endless-Shesha or as Adishesha which means the first Shesha. It is said that when Adishesa uncoils, time moves forward and creation takes place.
Shesha is generally depicted with a massive form that floats coiled on the ocean of milk, to form the bed on which Vishnu lies.
Shesha is also depicted as floating in the ocean of the changing world, forming the bed of Maha Vishnu. He is also known as Adishesha (the foremost of snakes) because of this and Anantashesha or simply Ananta (endless, as he is known to remain in existence even after the end of the Kalpa, when the whole universe is destroyed).
In this beautiful brass figure, Lord Virabhadra is depicted in minute detail. According to religious beliefs, Virabhadra is a super being created by the wrath of Rudra (Shiva), when he moved to destroy the Yagna (fire sacrifice) of Daksha, after his daughter Dakshayani (Sati) - consort of Shiva, self-immolated in yagna fire. Along with him was created, his consort Bhadrakali, from the wrath of Devi. Vīrabhadra is described as a warrior who eventually blinded Bhaga and broke, among many other countless gods, Pushan's teeth. Other gods fled the battlefield unable to sustain his power. A temple dedicated to him, is situated in the town of Veerbhadra, near Rishikesh in Uttarakhand and in Pasumbalur, near Perambalur district, Tamil Nadu.

Description
The beautiful brass figure of Lord Ganesha is carved out in a most accomplished fashion. Lord Ganesha, son of Lord Shiva and Parvati, is also known as Lambodar. The term Lambodar is derived from the lamba (large) and udar (belly). Saint Eknath has explained the meaning of this word as: The entire animate and inanimate creation dwells within Lord Ganesha. Hence the Lord is Lambodar. According to the Ganapatitantra, Lord Shiva played the Damaru (a small hour glass shaped drum). Lord Ganesha grasped the knowledge of the Vedas through the deep sound of the Damaru. He learnt dancing by watching the Tandav dance everyday and music from the sound of the anklets of deity Parvati. Since He imbibed such varied knowledge, that is digested it, He developed a large belly.
