The beautiful brass figure of Lord Ganesha is given a fine and detail touch. The Lord is holding arms in his two hands and in one arm he is holding modak (sweet). The Lord is seated on a lotus and even the lotus is finely carved out with lot of precision. The Lord is very much fond of modak and he can be easily propitiated by offering modak. The Lord is known with as many as 108 names by his devotees and it shows the popularity of the god for the Hindus. The lord is invoked first before beginning any ritual by the devotees.
