Description
The standing Aavalokiteshvara sculpture is given a detail treatment with golden brown finish. The golden brown finish gives the figure an additional spark. Avalokiteshvara is the earthly manifestation of the self-born, eternal Buddha, Amitabha. He guards this world in the interval between the historical Sakyamuni Buddha, and the next Buddha of the Future Maitreya. Legends say that once Chenrezig made a vow that he would not rest until he had liberated all the beings in all the realms of suffering. After working diligently at this task for a very long time, he realized the immense number of miserable beings yet to be saved. Seeing this, he became despondent and his head split into thousands of pieces. Amitabha Buddha put the pieces back together as a body with very many arms and many heads, so that Chenrezig could work with myriad beings all at the same time. Sometimes Chenrezig is visualized with eleven heads, and a thousand arms fanned out around him

Description
Hanuman is standing here with a weapon in his hand. Lord Hanuman, the greatest devotee of Ramchandra, had to take the form of Panchmukhi in order to kill Mahiravana, the king of Patala. Hanuman realized that to kill Mahiravana, Hanuman had to extinguish five lamps burning in five different directions at the same time. So Hnuman took the Panchamukha form with Hanuman, Hayagriva, Narasimha, Garuda and Varaha faces and extinguished the lamps and killed Mahiravana. Here the figure is given a raw but bold treatment and the Lord is standing tall and in his nine hands, he is holding different sets of weapons. With his right hand the Lord is blessing his disciples. According to Hanumath Prakaranam in Sri Vidyarnavatantram, Anjaneya has five faces (Pancha Mukha) and ten weapons. He is wearing a single cloth and his chest is carved bare. The figure is a symbol of strength and endurance.

Description
In this beautiful brass figure, Lord Ganesha with five-wick lamp is given a spectacular touch. The light symbolizes knowledge, illuminating and “en-lighten-ing” us. The light emanating from the ghee lamp removes darkness, ignorance and evil. The light or knowledge shows us the way out of our problems, fears, tensions, and unhappiness. The light of a ghee lamp is believed to bring in prosperity, as knowledge or wisdom is the greatest form of wealth. The wick is a symbol of energy and light where a light emits brightness. It is customary in India that all auspicious religious events and even important social functions will begin with the lighting of a lamp. This is like an invitation to the divine to come and bless us. In Hindu temples an elaborate “Aarti” prayer ceremony is performed with 5 diyas burning at once, and waved gently in a circular motion- in a clockwise manner, in front of a picture or statue of a deity. This aarti ritual literally purifies the atmospheric air. This symbolizes our dedication and oneness with the Lord and gathering from Him a part of his piousness and immense power and strength.
