A ten armed MahaKali literally translated as Great Kali, is a consort of Lord Shiva, shown here in this beautiful sculpture she is standing on the prone, inert body of Shiva. Mahakali represents Adi-Shakti or Primeval Force of the Universe the power of pure creation in the universe, and Shiva represents pure conciousness which is inert in and of itself. There is a colloquial saying that "Shiva without Shakti is Shava" which means that without the power of action (Shakti) that is Mahakali, Shiva is inactive; Shava means corpse in 'Sanskrit' the great language of ancient times.The use of copper and silver shade is making this brass sculpture more interesting.

The figure of Jalaram Bapa, the great Hindu saint from Virpur in Gujarat has been intricately carved out of brass with a rare degree of smoothness. The head is totally covered with the turban and the body upto knee is adorned with a coat. He is wearing some ornaments on his neck and with one hand he is holding a stick. He is also wearing a dhoti. The figure displays a great sense of gracefulness and the saintly character of the 19th century saint, who treated both the Hindus and Muslims as brothers and who served the needy is evident in the statue. No saint could pass by his ashram without having some food.

He has unflinching faith on the Supreme God Swaminarayan and founded His temple (Akshardham).
