Description
The figure of Jalaram Bapa, the great Hindu saint from Virpur in Gujarat has been intricately carved out of brass with a rare degree of smoothness. The head is totally covered with the turban and the body upto knee is adorned with a coat. He is wearing some ornaments on his neck and with one hand he is holding a stick. He is also wearing a dhoti. The figure displays a great sense of gracefulness and the saintly character of the 19th century saint, who treated both the Hindus and Muslims as brothers and who served the needy is evident in the statue. No saint could pass by his ashram without having some food.

Description
The brass statue of Sadguru Gunatitanand Swami, who built the famous Akshardham temple, has been beautifully designed. He has unflinching faith on the Supreme God Swaminarayan and founded His temple (Akshardham). He read the holy scripture 'Vachanamrutam' for 108 times finally decided to go to 'Akshardham' (God's abode). The saintly character of the figure is evident in his drapery and facial ex-pression. He is wearing a garland on his neck and his entire body is being covered with clothes. He is wearing a dhoti and it has some straight designs.

The beautiful figure of the Lord Swaminarayan is given a nice and detail treatment. Bhagwan Swaminarayan was born on 2 April 1781 and passed away on June 1, 1830.
Swaminarayan is also known as Ghanshyam Pande, Ghanshyam Maharaj, Shreeji Maharaj, Hari Krishna Maharaj and Shri Hari.
Swaminarayan was born Ghanshyam Pande in Chhapaiya, Uttar Pradesh India in 1781. In 1792, he left home to undertake a 7-year pilgrimage across various places in India and he adopted the name Nilkanth Varni. Finally, he settled in Gujarat in 1799, where the preacher propounded his doctrine. In 1799, he was initiated into the Uddhav Sampraday by his guru, Ramanand Swami and given the name Sahajanand Swami.
After Ramamand Swami's death, Sahajanand Swami held a gathering and gave the Swaminarayan Mahamantra and he came to be known as Swaminarayan and was believed to be god by his followers. The Uddhav Sampraday came to be known as the Swaminarayan Sampraday.
The followers of Swaminarayan Sampraday believe in Vedic scriptures.
It is believed that on the 1st of June, 1830, Swaminarayan gathered all his followers and announced decision to take Samaadhi and did so after making this announcement. He was cremated according to hindu rites at Laxmi Wadi in Gadhada.

One of the most revered animals in Hinduism, the cow is a symbol of sacredness and she is equated with a mother. The brass image of the cow reveals a rare sense of gracefulness and excellence in execution. The level of smoothness is obvious in the image and the cow is looking upward as if she is looking for her calf. The legs of the cow, hoofs, the horns, her nipples, eyes and even her ears have been prominently carved out by the artists. Venkateshwara is represented as Balaji, is the presiding deity of the tirumala hills in Andhra Pradesh, India. He has a dark complexion and four hands.In his two upper hands he holds a discus and a conch shell. With his lower hands extended downward he asks devotees to have faith and surrender to him for protection.

The sculptor has designed the Cow and its calf in a most intricate and delicate manner. The cover on the cow is full of design and the face of the cow reveals an innocence feeling. Cow is considered mother in Hinduism and is worshipped all over the country. Even cow dung is considered holy and is used in ritual ceremonies. The cow is a symbol of innocence and purity and above all an emblem of motherhood. Tender love of the cow towards her calf is evident in her face.
