He got solutions for all ills s connected with the life and the universe which occur to any inquisitive soul. He fully comprehended the Six Substances (dravya) and Seven Principles (tattva) whereby one gets explained the nature of all the objects and their activities.

After having attained popularity as a great spiritual teacher, Mahavir attained Nirvana (salvation) on October 15, B.C. 527 at Pavapuri in Bihar at the age of 72. The occasion was celebrated as the Dipavaii festival, and Vir Nirvan Samvat commenced from that date.

The wall hanging of Bhairava is chiseled out of brass metal revealing some fearsome aspect of Lord Shiva. His teeth, eyebrows, the long moustache, all have been quite prominent with yellow colour. Bhairava represents the fearsome aspect of God Shiva. He had cut off Brahma's fifth head, making him guilty of Brahmanicide, and as a result, he was forced to carry around the head for years until he had been absolved of the sin.

The origin of Bhairava is traced to the tale of Sati - wife of Shiva. Sati, the daughter of the king of gods, Daksha, had chosen to marry Shiva, in spite of her father disapproving the alliance because of the perception of Shiva as an ascetic associated with animals and ghosts, living a frugal life. Once Daksha held a yagna (a ritualistic sacrifice) and invited all the gods, but not Sati and Shiva. Sati came to the yagna alone, where Daksha publicly spoke badly of Shiva. Sati was unable to bear her husband insulted and offered herself to the sacrificial pyre. When Shiva learnt of this, he destroyed the yagna and killed Daksha by beheading him. He carried Sati's corpse on his shoulders and ran uncontrollably all around the world for days. Since this would eventually destroy all creation, Vishnu used his Sudarshan Chakra (divine discus) to cut Sati's body into pieces, which then fell all around. These spots where Sati's body parts fell are now known as Shakti Peethas. Shiva took the form of the frightful Bhairava and is said to be guarding each of these Shaktipeeths. Bhairava has a dog as his divine vehicle and each Shaktipeeth temple is accompanied by a temple dedicated to Bhairava. Bhairava is also invoked in prayers to destroy enemies

'Lord Narsimha' The Man Lion Incarnation of Vishnu

The beautiful brass figure shows Nrasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, killing Hiranyakashipu on His lap. Narasimha (‘man-lion’) is described as an incarnation (avatara) of Vishnu within the Puranic texts of Hinduism who takes the form of half-man / half-lion He has a human torso and lower body, but with a lion-like face and claws. He is worshipped in deity form by a significant number of Vaishnava groups throughout India (especially in the South) and is primarily known as the 'Great Protector', being a form of Vishnu who specifically defends and protects his devotees in times of need. According to Puranic traditions, in his previous avatar of (Varaha), Vishnu killed a rakshasa known as Hiranyaksha. Hiranyaksha's brother Hiranyakashipu, greatly angered by this, started to abhor Lord Vishnu and His followers. After years of great austerity and penance, he could please Brahma and the latter offers him a special boon. The boon was that neither man, nor beast nor weapon could kill him; nor would he die indoors or outdoors. Endowed with this boon, he assumed total invincibility and conquered the earth and the nether worlds. Intoxicated by his victory, he declared himself as the lord of the universe, and directed his subjects to worship none other than himself. The only one of his subjects to defy his orders was his own son Prahlada, a staunch devotee of Vishnu. Hiranyakashipu tried his level best to convince Prahlad, and then to kill him indirectly. However, none worked. Finally he challenged him to show him Narayana, whom he worshipped so fervently. Prahlada insisted that Vishnu was omnipresent and that there was no need to show him. An enraged Hiranyakashipu broke open a pillar in front of him, to disprove his son's assertion, and out of this pillar sprang out Narasimha, the man-lion form of Vishnu, who killed him on his doorstep, placing him on his lap.
