DESCRIPTION:
This book is the second book in the Secrets series written by the author. The first book "Secrets of Bhagawat, Mahabharat and Ramayan" focused mostly on the stories in the Bhagwat and barely touched a few stories from Ramayana. The current book is an attempt to look at the Ramayana holistically and explain all the spiritural secrets hidden in its many many stories. Written in easy to understand format - starts with a short version of each of the stories in Ramayana, followed by a spiritual explanation of the story both in Hindi n English. The Ramayana epic is like a beautiful necklace. It has various precious stones depicting the vividness of human emotions, worldly relations, responsibilities, insights in politics, architecture, astronomy, religion et al. However the thread that brings all these precious stones together as a necklace is a thread of Spirituality. Without understanding the spiritual meaning for which this epic was written, everything becomes irrelavent. This work is an attempt to bring that spirituality to the masses.

Description:
Is there a relationship between the ecological and the spiritual? Could the current ecological crisis have resulted from a lack of spiritual vision? Essays by Wendell Berry, Titus Burckhardt, HH the 14th Dalai Lama, Seyyed Hossein Nasr, Kathleen Raine, Frithjof Schuon, Hari Prasad Shastri, Philip Sherrard and others
“This book is a bouquet of fragant flowers which will nourish the hearts and minds of spiritual seekers and earth pilgrims alike. The book honors many traditions, distills their insights, and yet transcends their boundaries. These essays leave the reader in no doubt that there are no shortcuts, no technological fixes, and no easy answers to rebuild human–nature relationships. It is a big challenge and this book is a noble attempt to meet that challenge.”
— Satish Kumar, editor of Resurgence magazine and Programme Director of Schumacher College
“How good it would be if this book were to come into the hands of everyone involved with the natural world: environmentalists, naturalists, scientists, hunters, fishers, farmers, every mother with a baby playing in the garden, every father mowing the lawn, every human being who breathes air, drinks water, eats of the earth. That is to say, this book speaks to us all. If its lessons were heard and heeded, wonders might result.”
— Philip Zaleski, editor of The Best Spiritual Writing series and Parabola magazine.
“This is perhaps the first book one might turn to at a time when the barbarism of the ‘global economy’ is spearheading the destruction of the planet. This collection of essays demonstrates the truly global unanimity of the view that the natural world is Sacred — is indeed the Second Revelation.”
— Brian Keeble, co-founder of the Thememos Academy, founder of Golgonooza Press, and author of Art: For Whom and For What?

Description:
Ramesh S. Balsekar has authored more than 45 well-known books over two decades. He has always had a uniquely individualistic approach to spiritual seeking and, in the course of his teaching, he has developed several unique concepts. For instance, what is the ego? He has clarified that ‘you’ cannot have an ego, from which you seek freedom. You are the ego, the separate entity, the seeker who seeks the freedom of enlightenment, and finally arrives at the successful conclusion that what he is actually seeking is freedom from his own sence of personal doership.
Similarly, his concepts like the ‘working mind’ and the ‘thinking mind’, free will and predetermination being not opposites but complementaries, the difference between witnessing, observing and non-witnessing, biological reaction and egoic reaction among others have been found most useful by seekers and teachers alike, all over the world.

THE main object of this publication is to present, in simple English, some of the works of Sri Sankaràchàrya in which he tries to expound, in a popular style, the philosophy of the non-dualistic Vedanta of which he was the well-known founder. With this view the present translation has been rendered free of technical words and phrases, and, in some instances, literal and technical accuracy has been purposely sacrificed in order to make the translation readably and comprehensible by itself independently of the text. It is however hoped that the juxtaposition of the Sanskrit text and the English translation will serve the double object of enabling the student of Sanskrit to understand the text better and to correct, by a reference to the text, any defect of expression in the translation as an inevitable result of the attempt to garb it in a popular style. To those that have had no training in metaphysics or dialectics and have neither the leisure nor the capacity to read the original standard works of
Sankara,---mostly elaborate commentaries on the Vedanta aphorisms, the Bhagavad-Gita and the Upanishads---a publication of this kind should be specially helpful for a proper understanding of the broad outline of Sankara s philosophy of non-dualism. The work is fresh and powerful in expression, but also lyrical and soulful, delivering
a masterful work which does full justice to the original.

Description:
Shri Nisargadatta Maharaj was one of the most significant spiritual teachers of Non-Duality of his time. His powerful non-dual teachings continue to impact spiritual seekers from all over the world, decades after his passing. Maharaj spoke in his mother tongue, Marathi, and a translator would then translate his words into English. It goes without saying that the translator had to be finely tuned not only to Maharaj’s teachings but also to the subtle nuances of his language, his singular vocabulary of spiritual terms and his distinctive teaching idiom. Those who had the good fortune of being in Maharaj’s presence reiterate that the intensity of his teaching was at its peak in the last five years before he shed his body. In those years, a relatively young disciple, ShriDinkarKshirsagar, sat at Maharaj’ssatsangs with a notebook. Every time Maharaj said something which impacted him – it could be a sentence or an entire chunk of conversation – Dinkar-ji would jot it down faithfully, making note of the exact Marathi words used by Maharaj. Though he did not jot down every single word spoken by Maharaj during satsang, his meticulous unfiltered ‘excerpts’ comprised the very essence of the Living Teaching manifesting through Maharaj. They accurately reflected Maharaj’s intensity, his steadfast rootedness in the Self and his utterly natural, intention-less compassion for the spiritual seeker. These talks were first published in Marathi in a book titled Atmaprem. They were subsequently translated into English by Shri Mohan Gaitonde, Maharaj’s ‘evening’ translator, who had the privilege of being with him from 1979 to 1981. This translation is made special by one outstanding fact: years of intuitively translating Maharaj, and that too in his presence, bestowed upon Gaitonde-ji an invaluable gift – an ‘ear’ for Maharaj’s voice and tone. In other words, for his subtlest nuance. For spiritual seekers, keen on accessing Maharaj’s original teachings, this has indeed turned out to be a wonderful gift.

Self Calling is an assortment of Self-Reminder meditatlons in which Nitin Ram’s spontaneous insights relentlessly destroy all concepts of ‘Self’, pointing you towards the wordless ‘Nothingness’, a state beyond any need.
Carrying on the legacy of his Gurus, Sri Osho and Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, Nitin’s inspired words of Wisdom and Love, flrst engulf and then gulp what you think is ‘You’.
You may discover that these intention-less pointers not only bestow deep reflection but also have a way of circumventing the mind and striking deep into the heart . . . dropping ‘you’ into the ever-existing Natural state.
These pointers will help shed all misunderstandings about ‘Enlightenment’ being personal for the ‘assumed’ personality trying to seek it. “The ‘seeking entity’ that is trying to recognise the illusion,” Nitin points out, “is the Mother of All Illusions!”
With sparkling wit and ripened wisdom Nitin uses what he calls ‘the double-edged sword of Love and Truth, compassionately edging the reader to topple beyond the Known. “To know by BEING is direct knowledge, sans knower. FULL STOP.”
These intuitive quotes may help setyou free from your (mis) concepts of bondage and freedom, helping you discover Independent Joy as your Real Nature.
A heartfelt invitation to sit back and enjoy this book . . . as Totality unfolds infinite possibilities.

DESCRIPTION:
The Sermons and sayings of the Buddha are gems of “purest ray serene”,picked up at random from the vast treasures of Digha Nikaya,Majjhima Nikaya ,Anguttara Nikaya ,Uddana etc. It may be that there are numerous verses and chapters in these noble works that could be considered more illuminating than those selected by us.
But then such a selection as this, of its very nature, can never be fully representative.
The short pieces put together in this volume are not literal translation of the texts on which they are based. The writings published in the present series were not designed to be translations of the Buddhist texts. Our object has been to present in simple language the kernel of Buddhist thought in such a manner that the common man may be able to grasp it without difficulty. Therefore, the success of our endeavor, in our opinion, is to be judged by the reaction of the common man and not that of the spiritual mentor or the literary critic.

Never before have all the various facets of the teachings of Swami Ramdas (1884-1963) been brought together in one comprehensive volume.
Like a beautiful multicoloured garland of fragrant flowers, Servant of God is a collection of extracts from the writings of Ramdas that are arranged under 101 chapter headings.
The very phrases of Ramdas form the chapter headings which range from "Aboration of the Lord` to Zoroaster Taught the Suzerainty of God".
